Ratatatata - Why Your Tongues May Not Be Working (Galatians 5:25)
Ratatata… The sound rises with urgency, charged with emotion and intensity. It carries the appearance of power, as though every syllable is pushing back against darkness. I have seen it often, people speaking in tongues with the expectation that the devil must flee simply because words are being released. But there is a problem we rarely confront. Spiritual authority is not activated by sound alone. It is sustained by alignment. A life that contradicts the Spirit cannot produce power, no matter how intense the expression may seem. What appears forceful on the outside can be empty at its core. Scripture draws a clear line. If we live in the Spirit, we must also walk in the Spirit. That is not a suggestion, it is a standard. The life must agree with the language. James 1:22 warns against self-deception, hearing without doing.
