COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS BEFORE THE YEAR COUNTS YOU OUT - Psalm 103:2

"When you look at others with their lands and gold, Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; Count your many blessings money cannot buy Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high."  - 3rd Stanza of the hymn "Count your blessings " Before the year finally slips into memory, pause. Not to rehearse your failures, not to edit your regrets, but to tell your soul the truth. This year did not turn out the way you planned. Some dreams stalled. Some goals never moved beyond intention. Some prayers seem unanswered. If honesty is allowed, you expected more from yourself, and perhaps more from God. But here is the quiet danger of the last day of the year, we often measure the year only by what we did, not by what God preserved. We count achievements, but forget survival. We count results, but ignore restraint. We remember what did not happen, and overlook what did not destroy us. This final day is not asking you to pretend everythin...

AS PYJAMAS DEY MATCH, MAKE DNA TOO MATCH - John 1:12–13

Christmas does not begin with angels; it begins with inspection. Not of colours, not of coordination, but of character. Before heaven notices who matched pyjamas, it checks who matched nature. Pictures may convince people, but only DNA convinces God. As pyjamas dey match, make DNA too match. Christmas morning is simple. Outfits align, smiles are arranged, homes look peaceful. Everything appears unified. Yet Christmas is not impressed by what matches outwardly. The disturbing question remains, does what you wear agree with who you are becoming? John 1:12–13 declares, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God… which were born… of God.” That is not metaphor; that is identity. Sons share nature with their father. Christianity is not celebration by association, it is transformation by birth. You cannot claim God as Father and live with a different spiritual DNA. We announce Jesus loudly, but do we resemble Him quietly? It is possible to coordinate clothes...
