Are You Really a Beaut or Just Trending?

Before you shout “PURRRR!” and strike that confident pose for Instagram, ask yourself a deeper question: Have I truly submitted to the King of Kings? Because in a world obsessed with filters, fashion, and flaunting, it’s easy to wear the crown without carrying the cross.

Today’s youth culture is overflowing with self-declared royalty. Girls post with captions like “Too fine to stress!” and guys boast, “I’m him!” But true kings and queens in God’s Kingdom are not defined by likes, looks, or lipsyncs. They’re defined by lordship—have you bowed your heart before the King who rules above all kings?

God sees past the lace wig, sharp fade, luxury nails, and expensive fits. He checks the heart: “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).

So before you go viral shouting “PURRRR!” ask: Is my inner man as beautiful as my outer look? Have I adorned my heart with humility, or just my face with makeup and a smile? The truth is, beauty fades, but godly character sustains. And while the world may celebrate your aesthetics, God is drawn to your authenticity.

Real royalty in the Kingdom doesn’t boast—it bows. It doesn’t just trend—it transforms. Jesus, the ultimate King, didn’t walk with swag, He walked with sacrifice. He didn’t ride in to impress, He knelt down to wash feet. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up (James 4:10). Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant (Matthew 20:26).

So the question is not, “Do I look like royalty?” It’s “Am I living under His rule?” Is your confidence in Christ or in clout? Are you truly serving the King or just chasing trends? Is your image more important than your intimacy with God?

Before you say “PURRRR” and feel your beauty, ask: “Have I surrendered my crown to the One who wore a crown of thorns for me?”

Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).

What You Seek May Already Be Yours

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

Years ago, when my finances were stable, I opened a bank account solely for savings. Life was good, and money was flowing. But as time passed, the tides turned. The economy tightened, and survival became my only financial plan. I unconsciously abandoned the savings account because, honestly, even what I had wasn’t enough—so what was there to save?

Then came the tough seasons—days when I was completely broke, moments when I wished for a miracle. It never crossed my mind that I had anything left in that forgotten account. As far as I was concerned, I was at zero.

But recently, something strange happened. I had some extra cash and decided to save again. The moment I used the old account, I received unexpected credit alerts! Unbeknownst to me, money had been sitting there all along—untouched, unnoticed, yet available!

I was in shock. I had struggled, worried, and lived like I had nothing—when, in reality, I had more than I realized!

And suddenly, it hit me—this is exactly how many of us live in our faith journey.

We feel spiritually, emotionally, and even financially dry, believing we have nothing left. We cry out to God, thinking He has abandoned us, when in fact, His provision has been there all along. Just like my forgotten savings, heaven’s resources, divine strength, and breakthrough are already in our name—we just haven’t accessed them!

Hagar had the same experience in Genesis 21:15-19. She thought she and her son would die of thirst, unaware that a well was right beside her. It wasn’t until God opened her eyes that she saw the provision that had always been there.

Could this be your story too?

Are you struggling with emptiness when God has already deposited something within you?

Are you crying over a lack that doesn’t even exist?

What if what you’re searching for is already yours—waiting to be discovered?

Look again. God has supplied your needs. Open your eyes. Your hidden wealth is closer than you think.
